Hier steht ein historisch wertvoller Anhänger zum Verkauf, der wohl zur Regierungszeit George Washingtons hergestellt wurde . Ab 1791 gab es bereits 14 Staaten, deshalb muss er vor 1791 gefertigt worden sein.
Dieser Anhänger einer Uhrkettewurde in 14 ct Gold gearbeitet. Er zeigt eine Flagge in einem Schild mit 13 Sternen und Streifen, welche die 13 Staaten des vereinigten Amerikas vor 1791 repräsentieren. Rechts und links dieser Fahne führen 2 lang gezogenen plastische Adlerköpfe nach unten und verbinden zwei ovale Medaillons , die beweglich sind und ebenfalls miteinander verbunden sind. Jedes Medaillons hat jeweils eine Fassung mit einem ovalen Karneol . Eins der Medaillons hat einen Deckel , das andere Medaillon hat ein facettiertes Glas. Wahrscheinlich fehlt auf dem einen Medaillon der Deckel auf dem anderen das Glas. Eine Ansteckflagge aus Stoff ist Teil des zum Verkauf stehenden Fobs . Es sind 24 Sterne auf dem Stoff der Miniatur Flagge zu sehen, welche sich auf das Jahr 1821 datieren lassen. Die 2 historisch wichtigen musealen Objekte werden in einem roten Leder Etui des 19. Jahrhunderts aufbewahrt .
We are selling a very rare watch fob pendant dating from the time when George Washington was president of the United States of America. It most likely belonged to an influential person of that time. The 13 stars representing the 13 states dates the fob before 1791. This fob pendant is made from 14 ct gold and the 13 stars and stripes are engraved into a shield. Two sculpted eagles heads on either side of the shield connect a pair of movable lockets. Each locket has a set cornelian on one side. On the reverse side on one locket is a small door and a faceted glass on the second locket. We presume that one locket is missing the glass and the other one a door. There is also a miniature flag made from material (cotton) with 24 stars on blue with red and white stripes which must date from 1821. The 2 historical important pieces are protected in a red leather box from the 19th century.
